Eastern Suburbs Dog Training Club: December 2011

The club held our annual Xmas Fun Day on Sunday the 12th of December to mark the end of our dog training year. A great time was had by all entering the many fun events such as the Fancy Dress, the Waggliest Tail and the Good-O Eating Competition. We had the regular Sausage Sizzle and appearance by Santa, raffles of Christmas Hampers and Annual Awards to our Obedience Trialers. Heather also organised and extra 'Rally-O' course for members and their dogs to practice on.

President's Award
Leonie Kelly, Jason Lau and Chris Healy were presented with the President's Award for "Outstanding Service to the Club" during 2011 at the Xmas Fun Day

The Club held it's 4th Annual Activity Encouragement Trial on Sunday 20th November to celebrate 4 years of Activity Classes at the Club. The Club would like to thank Sandra Walker for judging the event, Claire Scivyer for all her assistance and everyone else who helped out and took part in the event!

There were 3 categories - 'Beginners' for the dogs that are learning Agility, 'Pre-Trialers' - for more advanced dogs who have yet to enter an Agility Trial and 'Trialer' for those who have already competed in an Agility Trial.
